Horizon, Persona 5 and Uncharted: The Best PS4 Games of 2017
Did you play any of them? Meet the 10 best PS4 games released for the Sony console this year!
The PS4 has had many great games released for its players in 2017, between exclusive titles and also those that have also gone on other platforms. Some stood out more than others, however, such as Uncharted Lost Legacy , Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 . In the list below we chose the best of the year for the current Sony console, without order of preference, highlighting its most positive points. Check out below I have listed best PS4 games of 2017
1. Uncharted Lost Legacy
Uncharted may be a series already with many titles released and also with little space for innovation, but always surprises with fun and uncompromising history, as well as graphics very well worked. In Uncharted Lost Legacy was exactly what we saw and also with another novelty: a 100% female main cast for the first time in the series. The story, focused on Chloe and Nadine, has brought everything the fans enjoy in the saga to a new level.
2. Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice
Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice also came out on the PC but also stood out on PS4 as one of the most unusual titles of the year. Its main differential was in the narrative, showing real problems for which the protagonist, Senua, passed, mainly in its subconscious. Here the greatest enemy was not the monster that appeared on the stage, but the thoughts of the protagonist, who did everything to make her mad. A game without equal and with extremely differentiated production.
3. Person 5
The Atlus RPG ushered in a new era for Persona 5 fans. Launched in Japan in 2016, it only hit the west this year. The game brings a dense history full of charismatic characters. His stage design and menus were one of the big highlights, without something similar to compare. Adding to this we still have the soundtrack, full of songs sung, mixing pop with jazz. A complete product with gameplay that does justice to the climate of the classic of the genre.
4. Nier Automata
Nier Automata is another game that divided the PS4 and PC, but stood out for issues that go beyond the gameplay – which in itself is fun. Here, what counts is the charisma of the characters and their plot. Not by chance, with a quick search you find many cosplay 2B or any other participant in the story. Despite being a production of Square Enix, it is not an RPG, but a game of action and adventure, with elements of shooter.
5. Horizon Zero Dawn
Perhaps the PS4 exclusive that most attracted attention in 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn did deserve. Introducing a new protagonist, in times when we already have several heroes and heroines in the games, is no easy task. Aloy, the protagonist of Horizon, showed her strength and also the strength of the heroines in the games. The game is open world, with lots of adventure, action and combat against machines of all sizes. In addition to neat graphics, Horizon Zero Dawn still had content to last for many months.
Game that started the year exclusive to the PS4 and came out recently on the PC, Nioh is a kind of “Dark Souls in feudal Japan”. As difficult as its distant cousin, the title pleased not to be original, as it really was not, but by the ambiance and challenge at a high level. The fighting, extremely technical and certain, gave the right tone that the adventure needed. Although it came out earlier in the year, and forgotten after so many months, it’s still a great console title.
7. Gravity Rush 2
Another game that came out in the initial lead of the year and then went blank was Gravity Rush 2. Despite being a sequel to an almost obscure game by much of the audience, the title was one of Sony’s exclusive weightlifting in 2017. game previously released on PS Vita, Gravity Rush 2 followed with its unique concepts of gravity manipulation and other elements that were not seen in other titles of the adventure genre. One of the hidden gems of the island in 2017 and that can not be forgotten.
8. Resident Evil 7
Resident Evil 7 also came out on Xbox One and PC, but had a special highlight on the PS4 because of its virtual reality mode, allowing you to play the entire game with the PS VR and feel the scares even more real and unique. The game was also responsible for bringing back the horror atmosphere of the series in a unique way, in the first person and with many puzzles to be solved. One of the titles that inaugurated the year of the games and, even today, still receives relevant content.

9. Yakuza 0
The PS4 received two titles from the Yakuza series in 2017, but the main one was Yakuza 0, which features a prologue to the main saga, unprecedented content and narrative in the “galhofa” style that fans enjoy. The game, by far, looks like GTA, but not a totally open world. In fact it stands out for the amount of missions, extras and content to enjoy in the Japanese neighborhoods it presents. The story is also of good quality and its protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, has charisma to handle the plot alone.
10. Assassin’s Creed Origins
In 2017 the PS4 saw many multiplatform weightlifting launches, so picking a few to compose this list is no simple task. Another one worth mentioning is Assassin’s Creed Origins, which, after a two-year break, reinvented the Ubisoft series and brought back the joy of the fans. The story now takes place in ancient Egypt and the plot functions as a prologue to the entire saga. Bayek, the new protagonist, struggles to avenge his son’s death and players follow their missions all along the huge map available. One of the best of the year.
